THE ARTY RAFFLE FOR GAZA

My solo show SHADOWBANNED IN A TIME OF MONSTERS will open in Art Bypass Gallery (@we_are_sweet_art) on Saturday 16th August 2025 in a all day event fundraising for medical aid for Gaza.

The body of work of this solo exhibition is all about Gaza as I wanted to reflect the time I am living right now, this time of monsters, of live-streamed genocide. I want to help effectively somehow and thought of an arty raffle of donated art works by conscientious artists.

We decided to fundraise for Doctors Worldwide. 100% of monies will go to this organizsation and its Gaza project. You can see what they are doing in this link.

The tickets are only £5, every ticket provides medical care for one adult or child. The multi-prize draw will be on the first week of September. Some works might be sold before the draw using the the ‘Buy Now” option for bigger donations. Shipping included.

’BUY NOW” option is available for those wanting to acquire a specific work and make bigger donations.

WE WANT TO SELL 2K tickets for the September draw. Could we do this?!!!

See bellow the catalogue of donated art works.

Doctors Worldwide has been providing medical aid in Gaza for year, yet since the attacks began in October 2023 their help is a lifeline for many. In a region where functioning hospitals are nearly nonexistent, they’ve established two active medical tents, providing primary healthcare to thousands who would otherwise go untreated, such as health education sessions and psychosocial support, especially for children who have lived through unimaginable trauma. Additionally, they are supporting a primary healthcare centre in Gaza’s middle area, where they serve a growing population of displaced families, children, and the elderly with vital medical aid. Furthermore, they’re supporting the delivery of breastfeeding support through 10 lactation consultants across. Since their response began:

  • 36,222 patients have received essential medical care

  • 6,672 individuals have accessed mental health services

  • 34,254 people have received nutritious meals

  • 3,825 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers have been supported by our lactation program

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ARTISTS WANTING TO DONATE: Donations are now close for this event. Yet we are seeking to establish a protocol of Arty Raffles for Gaza to be used again, so stay in tune for future events like this, your donations will always be well received.
